It's rainy and 50 degrees. I'm watching the replay of last night's away game of the Phillies, against the Dodgers. I just got a text inviting me to go play a new board game, and ordinarily I'd be all over that, but I have been thinking I might just finally get to do what I've been wanting to do at work all week... sleep. So I might go to bed early, like 9pm.

Sigh

Man, it had to happen. After several days of feeling pretty content, I've fallen into the doldrums a bit. It is humid, and I am slightly sleep-deprived, which are both risk factors for me becoming moody, but still. Meh.

Tonight instead of getting together with the guy I've been dating (and that situation has been rocky, not to put too fine a point on it) I did yoga with Alice, we went to Trader Joe's, picked up some Ben and Jerry's at the corner store, and sat around at my kitchen table. And now I'm ready to fall into bed.
