So, since I last posted, I finished medicine on a high note (my senior resident said I did better than many regular medicine interns! Huzzah!) and had an awesome Thanksgiving week with my family and friends. I did a week of inpatient psych, which was overwhelming at first but then great -- and let me just say, I've done medicine and I've done psych, and believe me, psych is better. I have free time in the evenings! I baked Chilean sea bass Saturday night in dry white wine with garlic and olive oil and tomatoes and it was delicious. I met up with my cousin and her husband tonight, impromptu, and we went out for drinks at this authentic Irish bar a block away from me. So nice.
