Well, I guess the days of hookers and blow had to end.

...Meaning, I've been socializing a good bit lately, but now I have to sober up and try to work again. I started my emergency medicine rotation today, and it seemed pretty chill and self-explanatory. I am a bit worried about the fact that I'll need a Palm (into which to put the all-important PELS, or patient log). Anyway, I'm at my parents' house tonight, all alone (they are in London), because it's easier to drive down to the kiddo hospital from here than in the city. My cat seems happy to have me here (to feed him).
